Education

Rebecca Reck finished a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering through Engineering Distance Education at Iowa State University in 2010.  Her area of study is controls and systems. She is researching applications of optimal control in avionics.  Her research was presented at the AIAA Infotech@Aerospace conference in April 2010 and published in her thesis.

In 2005, Rebecca graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.  While at Rose-Hulman, she enjoyed classes in controls, signal processing, and communications.  She also earned a minor in mathematics.

Rebecca's research interests include controls and signal processing.  Throughout both of her degrees she has taken many classes in these areas. She is currently applying these skills as a Senior Systems Engineer at Rockwell Collins Fusion Systems and Software group of the Flight Control Systems department. This position includes the requirements capture,  control law design, and testing for the automatic flight control system. Other applications of controls and signal processing that are of interest to her include robotics, intelligent control, automation, and image processing.
